A client in the publishing industry is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer to join its Publishing team in Ibadan, Oyo State. The company focuses on creating high-quality designs for print and digital publications.

• Design book covers, page layouts, publications, promotional materials and other visual content.
• Create illustrations, diagrams, charts and infographics where required.
• Edit, retouch and manipulate images.
• Prepare files for print and ensure digital distribution.
• Ensure accuracy in typography, alignment, spacing, colour and overall presentation.
• Collaborate with the Publishing and Editorial teams and implement feedback.
• Manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and maintain organised design files.
• Keep up with relevant design, publishing and digital tools and trends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or HND in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional training or certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in publishing, printing, media or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of page layout, typography, image editing, publication design and print production.
• Excellent eye for detail, composition, colour and visual consistency.
• Creativity, strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to interpret briefs, manage multiple assignments and implement feedback.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant design experience.
