The company is a fast-growing beauty and wellness brand with multiple outlets across Lagos and is seeking a Group HR Lead to join the leadership team. The company is committed to transforming self-care experiences and requires an HR professional who can provide structure, strategic direction, and operational excellence across all outlets.
 

Job Description

This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader with a strong background in multi-branch operations such as retail chains, gyms, salons/spas, hospitality groups, or telecoms. The HR Lead will oversee the full HR function across multiple locations, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on field operations.
The HR Lead will establish and manage HR systems, processes, and people operations across all branches. The role involves supervising the HR team, ensuring compliance with policies and labour laws, driving performance culture, and supporting leadership in building a strong, engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage the HR function across all business outletss
  2. Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and HR frameworks.
  3. Oversee recruitment for all levels, including frontline and volume hiring.
  4. Drive performance management and employee evaluation processes.
  5. Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  6. Ensure consistent compliance with labour laws, grooming standards, and HR processes.
  7. Guide workforce planning, manpower scheduling, and staffing optimisation.
  8. Lead HR reporting, analytics, and KPI tracking.
  9. Coach and supervise the HR Executive and junior HR team members.
  10. Support leadership in culture building, employee engagement, and retention.
  11. Conduct regular outlet visits to monitor HR implementation and operational alignment.

Required Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  2. CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD certification is an added advantage.
  3. 6–10 years HR generalist experience.
  4. Minimum of 3 years experience in retail, hospitality, fitness chains, beauty/wellness, telecoms, or similar multi-outlet environments.
  5. Proven experience supervising an HR team.
  6. Strong mastery of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  7. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced, and field-oriented environment.
