A financial and investment company is seeking an experienced Head of Research to lead the Group’s research function and deliver strategic insights, evidence-based analytics, and thought leadership that support decision-making at the highest levels.

• Research Strategy & Leadership
• Economic, Financial & Industry Analysis
• Collaborate with Strategy, Finance, Risk, and Business Units to integrate research findings into strategic decisions.
• Competitive & Regulatory Intelligence
• Maintain up-to-date competitor intelligence, market share analysis, and industry benchmarking.
• Develop early-warning insights into emerging threats and opportunities.
• Data, Research Quality & Methodology
• Promote innovation in research using digital tools, analytics, AI, and forecasting models.
• Leadership & People Management
• Drive continuous capability development and ensure strong succession planning.
• Promote a culture of curiosity, analytical excellence, and business impact.

Requirements 
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business, or related field.
• An advanced degree is an added advantage (MSc Economics, MBA, or equivalent).
• 10–15+ years of experience in research, economic analysis, financial sector intelligence, or strategy analytics.
• Strong track record in leading research functions within financial services or investment firms.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights for senior executives.
