Key Responsibilities

HMO Liaison & Authorizations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HMOs.
  • Verify patient coverage and obtain treatment authorizations.
  • Resolve HMO-related issues and disputes efficiently.

Billing & Claims Management

  • Prepare, submit, and track medical claims accurately.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and reimbursements.
  • Handle rejected or disputed claims professionally.

Patient Verification

  • Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all HMO-related services.

Documentation & Record Management

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient and HMO records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations.

Administrative Support

  • Manage front desk operations and patient inquiries.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments.
  • Liaise with clinical and administrative teams for smooth service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years experience in HMO billing, healthcare administration, or customer service within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with hospital management software is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
