Job Description

The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic people partner to the business, supporting growth and operational excellence through effective workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance. The role ensures alignment between people strategy and business objectives while fostering a high performance and engaged workforce.

Location : Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement people centric HR processes aligned with business strategy and operational goals.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for corporate and operational roles.
• Serve as the primary HR lead for client audits, inspections, and site visits.
• Manage employee relations matters including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive manpower planning and ensure staffing compliance across operational sites.
• Execute performance management processes including appraisals, confirmations, PIPs, and role changes.
• Identify training and development needs and support capability building initiatives.
• Track HR metrics, prepare dashboards, and provide data driven insights to management.
• Develop, review, and enforce HR policies in line with labor laws and organizational standards.
• Plan and facilitate regular virtual and physical townhall meetings to drive engagement.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role.
• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, outsourcing, or fast paced environments preferred.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM, PHR, CIPM) required.
