Job Description

NRC Nigeria is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate ICLA Coordinator (Protection from Violence Partnership) to join our team in Maiduguri. The ICLA Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the effective implementation of ICLA and PfV activities through partner organizations. The role focuses on partner monitoring, provision of technical guidance, financial oversight of partner spending, capacity building, coordination, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with NRC standards, donor requirements, and ICLA/PfV best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ICLA, protection, legal assistance, or partnership management
  • Proven experience working with implementing partners and monitoring partner-led projects
  • Strong understanding of HLP, legal identity, civil documentation, community-based protection and dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Experience in financial monitoring and budget tracking is an asset
  • Proven experience working in complex and volatile environments
  • Strong reporting, analytical, and data interpretation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide constructive technical feedback and mentorship
  • Good understanding of humanitarian principles, AAP, and safeguarding
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to field locations
  • Fluency in English is required. Hausa, Kanuri, Fulani, and other local languages are an added advantage

Additional Information

  • Duty Station: Maiduguri, Nigeria
  • Duration of contract: 12 Months (Renewable)
  • Grade Level: Grade 7 in NRC's grading structure
  • Reporting line: ICLA Project Manager
  • Travel: 65%
