CcHUB is recruiting for its 24-month Instructional Design Fellowship, an immersive talent development programme focused on building a pipeline of Instructional Designers to support EdTech startups across Africa.

The fellowship combines structured training with hands-on startup experience. Fellows will receive 18 weeks of intensive learning delivered in three 6-week sprints, alongside 66 weeks of practical startup support.

This is an onsite, full-time role based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Instructional Design & Learning Experience Development

• Collaborate with facilitators, educators, and startup teams to design curriculum and instructional materials
• Support development of learning objectives, lesson structures, and learning pathways
• Assist in creating learning activities, assignments, and assessments
• Apply instructional design and learning science principles
• Design and review digital learning assets such as videos, quizzes, worksheets, and interactive activities
• Support adaptation of content for online, mobile, or blended learning

Product Management Support

• Support user and learner research activities (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
• Assist in documenting user needs and product requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and product review meetings
• Support product iteration through feedback gathering

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Test EdTech platforms and learning content to identify issues
• Review instructional materials for accuracy and alignment
• Support creation and execution of basic test plans
• Document and report bugs clearly to relevant teams
• Contribute to continuous product and content improvement

Across all areas, fellows will:

• Work with cross-functional teams including founders, product managers, designers, developers, and educators
• Support project coordination and documentation
• Participate actively in training, mentorship, and workshops
• Stay informed about EdTech and digital learning trends in Africa
• Apply feedback and research insights to improve outcomes

• Entry-level instructional design experience
• Preferably NYSC Corps members who studied Education
• Demonstrated interest in learning, education, technology, and problem solving
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for improving learning outcomes through EdTech
