• Write a weekly column covering the social, economic, and political topics related to  Nigeria from a Nigerian perspective.
• Special region-related coverage.

• The candidate should be adept at understanding the domestic and geopolitical situation of Nigeria.
• The candidate should be adept at understanding the nuances of domestic politics across Nigeria.
• The candidate must be able to look at geopolitical subject matters from multiple perspectives.
• The candidate must be adept at relying on fact-based evidence rather than political or activist wish-thinking.
• The candidate should be adept at understanding the ever-shifting state of the economy or economies of Nigeria.
