The IT Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day support, administration, and optimisation of corporate technology infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 services, local area network management, and modern low-code application delivery. This hands-on role requires technical depth and the professionalism to operate in a demanding, intellectually rigorous environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of technology improvement projects.
  • Administer and monitor the local area network (LAN), including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an IT Analyst, IT Support, or similar technical role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Local Area Networks (LAN), including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange, and user management.
  • Microsoft certifications: MS-900, MD-102, AZ-900, PL-900, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Purview, Defender for Endpoint, or M365 security and compliance tooling.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles or prior experience working within a formal ITSM framework.
  • Basic scripting ability using PowerShell for automation of routine administrative tasks.
  • Practical experience developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and/or model-driven).
  • Familiarity with Power Automate for workflow automation and process improvement.
  • Comfortable adopting and working alongside AI tools in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to fault diagnosis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A genuine commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the IT field.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to manage expectations, communicate updates clearly, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Experience working within a helpdesk or IT support environment, with a track record of resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple support requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
