Phillips Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a travel and tours agency in Abuja seeking a proactive IT professional to maintain critical infrastructure and support business operations. The organization relies heavily on specialized travel technology systems and requires dependable technical expertise to ensure seamless customer service and operational continuity within their Abuja office.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, printers, and network devices
• Monitor performance and availability of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity
• Provide timely technical support to employees resolving hardware, software, network, and access issues
• Set up workstations, user accounts, email configurations, and system access for new and existing staff
• Install, configure, and maintain business applications including GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Sabre
• Support API integrations, booking engines, software upgrades, and system configurations for uninterrupted operations
• Liaise with software vendors, ISPs, and third-party partners to resolve technical issues and optimize performance
• Implement cybersecurity controls including antivirus, firewalls, MFA, and endpoint security measures
• Monitor systems for security risks and respond promptly to incidents or vulnerabilities
• Ensure protection of sensitive client information, payment data, and business records per industry standards
• Perform regular system and data backups using cloud-based and on-premise solutions
• Support disaster recovery planning and conduct periodic recovery tests for business continuity
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, warranties, and equipment inventory
• Recommend technology upgrades and infrastructure improvements to support organizational growth

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or network management
• Experience supporting Global Distribution Systems (GDS), travel management software, or enterprise applications is an added advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for efficient issue resolution
• Solid understanding of computer networks, operating systems, cloud technologies, and endpoint management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and IT best practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service standards
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering excellent user support
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCSA are preferred
