A reputable Guest House in Ikeja, Lagos, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join its finance team. The company operates in the hospitality industry.

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare daily sales, revenue, and expense reports.
• Monitor cash collections, payments, and bank transactions.
• Reconcile cash, bank, and other financial accounts.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Support payroll preparation and other routine financial processes.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly authorised and documented.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

• Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
