Our client is a fast-growing and dynamic company operating in the FMCG (Beverage) Distribution sector, known for its strong growth trajectory and commitment to operational excellence. They are expanding their finance team to support business growth and improve financial controls, reporting, and compliance.

The Junior Accountant will support the finance team by assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and contributing to timely financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting processes, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos.

Salary: ₦300,000 monthly

• Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance
• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting
• Assist in preparing VAT/Tax computations and regulatory filings (where applicable)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate or regulated environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
