A motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer is needed to support the development, deployment, and operation of scalable applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering teams to streamline software delivery processes, improve system reliability, and automate routine tasks across the development lifecycle. You will assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and implementing Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Troubleshoot failing builds
• Create and manage basic cloud resources (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC basics)
• Manage compute, storage, and networking under supervision
• Deploy small applications or microservices
• Work with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to define resources
• Maintain IaC repositories
• Understand state management and modules (at a basic level)
• Build and optimize Docker images
• Write Dockerfiles and troubleshoot container issues
• Understand basic Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services, configmaps, secrets)
• Assist in maintaining K8s clusters
• Set up alerts and dashboards (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog)
• Investigate system performance issues
• Check logs and monitor deployments
• Write automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Automate repetitive tasks (cleanups, deployments, backups)
• Use cron jobs or scheduled workflows
• Use Git daily (commit, merge, PR, conflict resolution)
• Participate in code reviews
• Follow proper documentation and DevOps procedures

• 2+ years experience
• Foundational understanding of Linux systems, version control, and scripting
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in automation, Kubernetes orchestration, and observability
