Job Description

High-end Luxury Brand is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Executive to support the Human Resources function in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing employee experience, maintaining HR records, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional looking to grow in a fast-paced, modern business environment.

  • Job Location: Lekki Phase, Lagos Island, Lagos State (Onsite)
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Salary: ₦400,000 Monthly Net
  • Location Requirement: Only candidates living on Lagos Island will be considered

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements across relevant platforms.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Conduct initial HR interviews where required.
  • Support onboarding activities and employee orientation programs.
  • Prepare employment letters and documentation.

2. HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Manage staff documentation and filing systems (physical & digital).
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and analytics.
  • Monitor probation confirmation timelines.
  • Track employee leave and attendance records.

3. Employee Relations

  • Serve as first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Assist in handling staff welfare matters.
  • Support disciplinary processes and documentation.

4. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and HR procedures.
  • Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbook.
  • Support HR audits and documentation reviews.

5. Training & Development

  • Assist in identifying training needs.
  • Coordinate training schedules and logistics.
  • Maintain training records and evaluation reports.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years' HR experience (NYSC experience acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of Nigerian labour laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Only candidates living on Lagos Island will be considered.
