Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare preliminary cost estimates and detailed bills of quantities (BOQ).
  • Perform measurement take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents and evaluating subcontractor bids.
  • Monitor project costs and report on budget variances to senior QS.
  • Process interim valuations and final account settlements.
  • Maintain accurate records of variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.

Required Skills

  • B.Sc./HND in Quantity Surveying from an accredited institution.
  • 1–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in construction.
  • Proficiency in measurement standards and BOQ preparation.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement procedures.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with contractors and clients.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to project-specific requirements.
