Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with legal research and drafting related to insurance contracts and policies.
  • Support compliance monitoring and reporting against NAICOM regulations and industry standards.
  • Review and organize legal documentation including agreements, correspondence, and filings.
  • Aid in corporate governance tasks such as board meeting preparations and record maintenance.
  • Conduct due diligence and background checks for client onboarding or partnerships.
  • Track regulatory updates and summarize implications for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage legal filing systems and ensure document accessibility and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with senior legal staff on advisory matters and risk assessments.

Required Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed LL.B/BL degree from a recognized institution.
  • Strong interest in insurance law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work independently during remote days and collaborate effectively onsite.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to learn in a fast-paced brokerage environment.
  • Availability to commit to hybrid schedule with mandatory VI presence twice weekly.
