The Logistics Admin will coordinate local and international shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin while liaising with shipping lines, clearing agents, and freight forwarders. This role requires tracking vessel schedules, processing import/export documents with customs authorities, maintaining accurate logistics records, and supporting cost reconciliation within the maritime sector in either Port Harcourt or Lagos.

  • Salary: ₦200,000 – 250,000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation of shipping documentation: BL, invoices, packing lists, COO.
  • Liaise effectively with shipping lines, clearing agents, and freight forwarders.
  • Track vessel schedules, container movements, and real-time cargo status.
  • Process and file import/export documents with customs and port authorities.
  • Maintain comprehensive logistics records and update clients on shipment status.
  • Ensure timely delivery and proper handling of goods at ports and warehouses.
  • Support invoicing, payment follow-up, and logistics cost reconciliation.
  • Handle customer queries professionally and provide excellent service support.

Required Skills

  • HND/B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or admin roles.
  • Knowledge of port operations, customs processes, and Incoterms/shipping terms.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and logistics tracking systems.
  • Proficiency in B'Odogwu software is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Must currently reside in Port Harcourt or Lagos.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight shipping deadlines.
