Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate drivers and loading activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Liaise with client representatives to obtain and monitor weekly loading schedules.
  • Track truck movements from loading to delivery and monitor return trips for optimal fleet utilisation.
  • Coordinate backhaul requests between clients, drivers, and pickup locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck loading activities for billing and reporting purposes.
  • Upload operational activities to company systems for invoicing and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate fuel collection activities and ensure accurate fuel allocation.
  • Reconcile monthly fuel records and prepare fuel collection tickets.
  • Provide daily reports on truck availability, fleet status, and ongoing operations.
  • Coordinate truck maintenance and repair activities to minimise downtime.
  • Prepare operational reports and support management with logistics-related tasks.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, or a related field.
  • Experience in both long-haul and short-haul transportation operations.
  • Strong organisational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
