Job Description

The Lubricant Sales Lead will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing distributor and key account relationships across Nigeria. The role focuses on developing sales strategies, managing regional distributors, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring strong brand presence in the Nigerian lubricant market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow lubricant sales nationwide
• Manage and support distributors, dealers, and key accounts across assigned regions
• Identify new business opportunities in automotive, industrial, marine, and power-generation sectors
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with customers and distributors
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing in the Nigerian lubricant market
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulatory requirements and company policies
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team (where applicable)

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in lubricant or petroleum product sales in Nigeria
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian lubricant distribution network and market dynamics
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Ability to travel extensively across Nigeria
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
