Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily routine inspections to identify potential faults before failure occurs.
  • Analyze reported faults to determine root causes and implement effective resolutions.
  • Perform preventive and proactive maintenance on facilities according to manufacturer manuals.
  • Ensure all issues are properly logged, tracked, and closed per company policy.
  • Keep assigned equipment and facilities clean and in optimal working condition.
  • Monitor equipment usage to prevent mishandling and extend asset lifespan.
  • Complete Spare Requisition Forms, Job Completion Forms, and Equipment History Cards accurately.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives to reduce consumption and operational costs.
  • Test and confirm diesel quality before reception and sign off appropriately.
  • Provide feedback on vendor/service provider performance for evaluation purposes.
  • Prepare and submit timely daily maintenance reports.
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors and follow up until closure.
  • Propose improvements for operations, preventive maintenance, and spares management.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and departmental improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper handover of outstanding issues during shift changes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • OND, HND, or B.Tech qualification in Engineering, Technical Studies, or related field.
  • Must be computer literate for reporting and documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems in commercial settings.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping capabilities.
  • Commitment to safety standards and energy efficiency practices.
