The Maintenance Technician will conduct daily facility inspections, perform preventive maintenance, resolve equipment faults, and ensure energy efficiency while maintaining accurate records and supporting vendor evaluations within the organisation’s Itire-Surulere branch.

• Conduct daily routine inspections to proactively identify potential faults before failure
• Analyze reported faults to determine root cause and implement effective resolutions
• Escalate complex issues to supervisor as required and follow up to closure
• Log all issues properly and close them according to company policy
• Execute preventive and proactive maintenance on facilities per manufacturer manuals
• Keep assigned equipment and facilities clean and in optimal condition
• Monitor equipment usage to prevent mishandling or damage
• Ensure proper handover of outstanding issues during shift changes
• Complete Spare Requisition Forms and Job Completion Forms with required sign-offs
• Update Equipment History Cards upon resolution and closure of issues
• Drive energy-saving initiatives to reduce consumption and operational costs
• Prepare and submit timely daily maintenance reports
• Provide feedback on vendors and service providers for performance evaluation
• Build technical expertise in assigned areas and equipment types
• Propose improvements for operations, equipment, preventive maintenance, and spares management
• Engage in continuous self-training and development
• Contribute actively to team meetings and departmental initiatives
• Test and confirm diesel quality before reception and sign off accordingly

• Minimum of 1 year relevant maintenance experience
• OND or HND qualification eligible to apply
• Computer literacy required
• Must currently reside in Itire-Surulere, Lagos
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for fault diagnosis
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols
