1. Oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger integrity
2. Ensure accurate journals, accruals, reconciliations, and audit trails
3. Review and sign off on monthly management accounts
4. Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
5. Monitor cash positions and forecast cash flow needs
6. Manage banking relationships, payment authorizations, and FX transactions
7. Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
8. Track budget performance and analyze variances
9. Support cost optimization and business planning initiatives
10. Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax and statutory obligations (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.)
11. Coordinate internal and external audits
12. Identify financial risks and implement mitigation controls
13. Support Commercial Paper issuances, repayments, and reporting
14. Prepare documentation for trustees, arrangers, and investors
15. Ensure covenant and reporting compliance
16. Supervise and develop finance staff
17. Enforce segregation of duties and internal controls
