Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to take a significant part in the creation of a paradigm-changing product that will impact millions. You will support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, events, partnerships, and outbound channels, assist in content and messaging development, support social media management, assist in event marketing, support lead generation efforts, conduct research, assist in managing marketing calendars, collaborate with cross-functional teams, track and report on marketing metrics, support partnerships and PR, and assist with marketing operations tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, events, partnerships, and outbound channels
  • Assist in content and messaging development across social media, email, website, and campaign assets
  • Support social media management, including publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking
  • Assist in event marketing and execution (webinars, workshops, field activations), including coordination, logistics, and attendee engagement
  • Support lead generation efforts, including campaign setup, landing pages, and follow-up workflows
  • Conduct research on target audiences, market trends, competitors, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Assist in managing marketing calendars across campaigns, content, and events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, sales) to deliver cohesive marketing initiatives
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics (traffic, engagement, leads, conversions) and support performance analysis
  • Support partnerships, PR, and brand initiatives, including outreach and coordination
  • Assist with marketing operations tasks, including data organization, campaign tracking, and tool management

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic skills in content creation tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
  • Interest in fintech, B2B marketing, and African business ecosystems
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Portfolio of writing or video projects (can include school projects or personal work) is a plus
