Diagnostic medical laboratory in Nigeria

We are hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Manager/Director to lead the establishment, operations, compliance, and quality management of a diagnostic medical laboratory in Nigeria. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience running a medical laboratory in Nigeria and be fully familiar with local regulatory requirements.




 

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and test workflows
   
• Ensure compliance with MLSCN and Ministry of Health regulations
   
• Implement and maintain SOPs, quality control, and safety standards
   
• Manage laboratory staff, training, and performance
   
• Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor coordination
   
• Prepare the lab for inspections, audits, and accreditation

• Active MLSCN registration and practicing license (mandatory)
   
• 5–10+ years laboratory experience in Nigeria, with 3+ years in a management role
   
• Proven experience handling inspections, staff supervision, and lab operations
   

Preferred: Experience setting up or scaling a medical laboratory and familiarity with required standards and regulations 

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
