Clinix Healthcare is a diagnostic laboratory seeking a competent and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician for their Festac Branch. • Perform routine laboratory tests in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, and related areas under supervision
• Collect, receive, process, and analyze patient samples accurately and efficiently following standard protocols
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control, quality assurance, and biosafety protocols at all times
• Record, validate, and report test results promptly with high degree of accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation, reagent inventory records, and general laboratory cleanliness
• Assist in sample management, biohazard waste disposal, and infection control measures
• Support senior laboratory staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal turnaround times
• Participate in internal audits and external proficiency testing programs as required

• Strong technical knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and diagnostic equipment operation
• High level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving ability
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet critical diagnostic deadlines consistently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for professional team collaboration
• Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and basic computer applications
• Unwavering commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional learning
• Resilience and adaptability in handling high-volume testing environments

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Technology / Medical Laboratory Science from recognized institution
• Valid practicing license from Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) is mandatory
• NYSC completion certificate is an added advantage
• Previous experience working in a diagnostic or hospital laboratory setting is preferred
