- Sales & Listings: Cascade sales targets and deliver monthly sales performance. Secure new SKU listings on a monthly basis.
- Account Management: Negotiate and sign Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- In-Store Presence: Negotiate optimal shelf space and display placement.
- Reporting & Compliance: Document competitor activity and ensure error-free order processing in line with SOPs.
- Develop and execute the company’s modern trade strategy in alignment with overall sales and brand objectives.
- Manage key modern trade accounts, including negotiation of commercial terms, listings, pricing, rebates, promotions, and payment terms.
- Drive product listing, availability, and optimal shelf placement across all assigned modern trade outlets.
- Lead the planning and execution of trade promotions, in-store activations, and visibility initiatives to drive volume and brand penetration.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, stock levels, and distribution gaps, and take corrective action where required.
- Coordinate with Brand, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure timely product supply, accurate forecasting, and effective promotion execution.
- Enforce compliance with approved trade terms and prevent margin erosion arising from uncontrolled discounts, rebates, or deductions.
- Prepare regular performance reports covering sales, margins, promotions, account profitability, and market insights.
- Identify new modern trade opportunities and support expansion into new organized retail channels and regions.
- Manage and develop modern trade sales representatives or merchandisers assigned to key accounts.
