Job Description

We are seeking an Operation Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical warehouse operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient storage, handling, and distribution of medicines. The role requires maintaining inventory accuracy, product quality, regulatory compliance (PCN, NAFDAC, GDP), and operational efficiency while supporting order fulfillment and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo State (Willingness to work in Ibadan and support extended operational hours is required)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory and professional compliance in all warehouse activities.
  • Supervise proper storage, handling, and distribution of medicines, including cold-chain and controlled products.
  • Manage inventory: receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
  • Approve inbound/outbound products, monitor batch tracking, expiries, and documentation.
  • Lead investigations of stock discrepancies, damages, recalls, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and internal quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, implement, and improve SOPs; train and supervise warehouse staff.
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare operational reports.
  • Maintain health, safety, and security standards.

Required Skills

  • B.Pharm or PharmD from a recognized institution.
  • Registered and licensed with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • 3–5 years' experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations, distribution, or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of GDP, inventory management systems, and audit processes.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical distribution/wholesale or healthcare logistics is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in Ibadan and support extended operational hours.
