Our client, a fast-growing Nigerian bill startup based in Ibadan. This is a mid-level leadership role ideal for someone with proven managerial experience who thrives in creating structure to deliver exceptional service.

•Assess our current operational setup, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
•Design and implement internal systems, digital tools, and workflows to reduce manual workloads, enhance cross-team communication, and ensure clear alignment on responsibilities and priorities.
•Monitor team performance against KPIs, providing regular feedback and direction to inspire accountability, creativity, and commitment.
•Document processes clearly for consistent company-wide adoption.
•Lead the team's transition to new systems and processes, owning enforcement and consistency.
•Support team members' professional growth while aligning with company goals.
•Oversee customer service responses and all customer-facing communications for high quality and consistency.
•Make operational and compliance-related decisions under CEO supervision.
•Set clear, realistic KPIs for departments based on team capacity and company objectives.

•Minimum 1 year in a similar managerial or operations role (we will require a professional reference from this experience).
•Proven track record of setting up internal systems, tools, or processes from scratch or significantly improving existing ones.
•An accountable professional comfortable taking ownership and driving results.
•Passionate about building something meaningful in Nigeria's fintech space.
•Based in Ibadan, with availability for hybrid in-office work.
•Strong organisational and leadership skills, with confident decision-making, good judgement, and attention to detail.
•Excellent communication skills, able to lead with clarity and empathy.
•Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
