Job Description

The Operations Officer will support and monitor field operations across assigned regions, monitor sales performance, track Business Developers (BDs), conduct merchant visits, collect and analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

  • Job Location: Nationwide (Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Delta, Enugu, Sokoto, Kogi, Plateau, and other states)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track the performance of Business Developers (BDs) within assigned regions.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure regional targets are achieved.
  • Conduct regular merchant visits to monitor activation and proper usage of OPay products and services.
  • Collect, analyze, and maintain operational data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel to track sales activities and field performance.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Support merchant onboarding and ensure proper documentation.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to BDs to improve productivity and performance.
  • Escalate operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations, sales support, or field operations, preferably in fintech, banking, or telecom.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively.
