Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate customer deliverables against approved sales orders and contractual terms
  • Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices in line with pricing and tax regulations
  • Post invoices promptly into the accounting system with proper matching
  • Monitor revenue for completeness, accuracy, and correct accounting treatment
  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms
  • Track receivables aging, escalate overdue accounts, and support actions to minimize bad debts
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Support vendor invoice processing for accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor payables and support timely vendor settlements
  • Prepare periodic receivables and payables reports
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Maintain proper asset tagging and tracking

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • ACA qualification is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
