Job Description

The Paid Ads Specialist will run paid ads campaigns for MIA Consulting clients, primarily on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) but also Google Ads. You will execute MIA's method on assigned clients, keeping campaigns alive, optimized, and accountable to results.

  • Job Location: Remote
  • Employment Type: Contract (Entry to Mid-Level)
  • Salary: Base pay: ₦50,000 per client per month + Performance bonus: ₦10,000 per client per month (when KPIs met, no policy violations, client stays) + Consulting referral: 5% of first month's revenue (if you introduce a lead that converts to consulting)

MIA operates through MIA Academy (training and bootcamps) and MIA Consulting (done-with-you paid ads, lifecycle, and growth services for SMEs). MIA Consulting helps Nigerian SMEs run paid ads that actually bring in customers, winning on clarity, speed, and a documented method that turns ad spend into pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up Meta and Google ad campaigns based on the brief provided (campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences, tracking).
  • Watch live campaigns closely in the first 5 days, then weekly after that. Catch problems early (account flags, policy reviews, performance drops).
  • Adjust budgets, placements, audiences, and creative as data comes in, following MIA's decision rules.
  • Pull data weekly from Ads Manager and backend systems. Check against tracker.
  • Write short weekly reports per client: what happened, what changed, what's next.
  • Flag policy risks, account health issues, and creative fatigue early.
  • Keep accounts clean: clear campaign names, correct tracking, working pixel.

Key Deliverables:

  • Campaigns shipped on time per MIA's brief.
  • Account health checks logged in client tracker.
  • Weekly performance report per client (template provided).
  • Optimization decisions logged with reasoning.
  • KPI targets met or beaten per client (ROAS, CPL, or CPA).
  • Zero unflagged policy violations or account suspensions on managed accounts.

Success Metrics:

  • 3 months: Manage 1–3 client accounts independently; ship campaigns on schedule; hit KPI targets; write clear decisions.
  • 6 months: Handle 4–6 client accounts; spot optimization opportunities proactively; bring clear point of view to weekly reports.

Required Skills

  • Real hands-on experience running Meta ad campaigns (for side hustle, small business, internship, or previous role).
  • Have been inside Ads Manager; set up campaigns; looked at breakdowns; tried to fix underperforming campaigns.
  • Hungry to learn a system; willing to follow MIA's method first, then earn the right to deviate.
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude in daily work (or willing to learn fast).
  • Works with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, WhatsApp, Loom, Google Workspace, ChatGPT/Claude.
  • Communicates well in writing; gives clear status updates without being chased; asks when needed.
  • Open to NYSC corpers, undergraduates, fresh graduates, and people 1–3 years into their careers.
