Society Girl CapitalNigeriaPart-Time (Remote)

Job Description

The Partnerships Associate will identify and build relationships with organisations that can help SGC grow — through sponsorship, audience distribution, venues, expertise, products, services or other forms of meaningful collaboration.

  • Job Location: Remote
  • Employment Type: Part-Time
  • Salary: Not stated

About the Company

Society Girl Capital (SGC) is a community and emerging investment firm for ambitious professional women building wealth through ownership. Through our Network, Salons, Wealth Workshops and private investment opportunities, we bring together women who want to move beyond earning well towards owning meaningful assets. We are early, intentional and building SGC from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify organisations whose customers, brand or strategic priorities align with SGC and its audience.
  • Build and maintain a qualified sponsorship pipeline.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to prospective sponsors.
  • Understand prospective partners’ objectives and identify relevant ways for them to work with SGC.
  • Prepare and tailor sponsorship proposals using SGC’s established materials and packages.
  • Coordinate meetings, proposals, follow-ups and negotiations through to close.
  • Work with the Founder on major sponsorship conversations and final commercial decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sponsorship values, status, next steps and expected close dates.
  • Coordinate with Community & Programmes and Media to ensure agreed sponsor benefits are delivered.
  • Produce post-programme sponsor reporting and support renewal conversations.
  • Identify relevant professional communities, networks, publications, universities, alumni groups and other organisations that can help SGC reach the right audience.
  • Build relationships with organisations that can distribute SGC programmes and opportunities to relevant women.
  • Develop mutually useful cross-promotion, referral, content and programme partnerships.
  • Coordinate partner promotion around Salons, Wealth Workshops and other SGC initiatives.
  • Track the registrations, applications or reach generated through key partnerships.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with high-value partners rather than treating each collaboration as a one-off transaction.
  • Maintain SGC’s partnership and sponsorship CRM.
  • Keep sponsorship decks, packages, proposal templates and outreach materials current.
  • Build a clear pipeline with ownership, next actions and deadlines.
  • Provide regular reporting on outreach, conversations, proposals, closed partnerships and sponsorship value.
  • Surface new partnership opportunities and recommend where SGC should focus its time.

Required Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, account management, marketing or a related commercial role.
  • Commercially minded and motivated by turning conversations into concrete outcomes.
  • Confident initiating conversations with people and organisations you do not already know.
  • Persistent without being pushy — you follow up and keep momentum moving.
  • Strong written communication and able to write concise, persuasive outreach and proposals.
  • Comfortable researching organisations and identifying why a partnership could make sense before contacting them.
  • Highly organised and disciplined about CRM, follow-ups and next actions.
  • Comfortable discussing money, sponsorship packages and commercial terms.
  • Able to build genuine long-term relationships rather than simply sending high-volume cold outreach.
  • Proactive and able to work with significant autonomy.
  • Genuinely excited about SGC’s mission and audience.
  • Strong remote working habits.
