Job Description

The People Operations Analyst will support Bamboo’s People team in executing HR functions across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, events, employee communication, and office administration. This role is ideal for someone passionate about employee experience, engagement, and organizational support.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Recruitment

  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, scheduling, emailing, interviewing, offer letters, and reporting
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure new hires have a consistent, positive experience
  • Support HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, employee reviews, training, and career planning

Benefits & Perks Administration

  • Implement and manage employee benefits, wellness programs, and celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, Bamboo Gold perks)

Events Management

  • Coordinate internal events, off-sites, team bonding activities, and other celebrations
  • Measure employee satisfaction and engagement during events

Employee Communication

  • Communicate company-wide updates via appropriate channels (email, Slack, HR tools)
  • Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave, and workplace support

Employee Documentation

  • Maintain accurate HR records for all employee lifecycle changes (hire, promotion, performance, compensation, termination)

Office Administration

  • Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor coordination
  • Oversee maintenance of facilities, equipment, and security systems at Lagos & Abuja offices

Required Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in HR or People Operations
  • Passionate about creating great employee experiences and initiatives
  • Independent, proactive, and accountable with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Foundational design skills (Canva, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of general HR policies, procedures, and labor laws
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Adaptable, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple priorities

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid role: 3 days in-office (Lagos)
  • May require occasional travel to other office locations
