The Performance Analysis Intern will support player development, coaching decisions, and recruitment by filming and coding matches, producing post-match reports, and maintaining the academy video archive.

Sporting Lagos is building an institution that changes what football means in Lagos and across Nigeria — a club that young players want to join before they think about leaving the country, that families plan their weekends around, and that naturally shows up in music, fashion, and everyday conversation because it matters to people's lives.

• Film and code: Record academy matches and selected training sessions; code matches using LongoMatch, Hudl Sportscode, or equivalent; tag training exercises to departmental standards.
• Report: Produce post-match reports within 24 hours of each fixture; pull the tactical moments coaches and players need to see; build individual player video packages for one-to-one feedback sessions.
• Keep the archive clean: Maintain the academy video archive: labelled, stored, backed up, no missing fixtures; keep player databases organised.

• Understand football tactically and want to go deeper.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Take feedback and improve.
• Reliable.
• Can maintain confidentiality.
• Desirable: hands-on experience with LongoMatch, Hudl Sportscode, Wyscout, Veo, or Excel.
• A background in sports science, performance analysis, data analytics, or computer science is desirable, as is a strong body of analytical work. Neither is required.
• Certifications (PFSA, NIS, ISF, FIFA Training Centre, or similar) are an advantage, not a requirement.
