Diagnosis and Triage

• Perform functional tests to triage damaged devices and diagnose failures.
• Run diagnostic software/hardware checks on incoming devices (battery health, display, cameras, speakers/mic, sensors, buttons, charging port, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/cellular).
• Sort and route devices by fault category and repair complexity.
• Flag devices that fall outside repair scope or are beyond economical repair (BER).

Disassembly and Repair

• Safely disassemble devices using precision tools without damaging surrounding components.
• Isolate faulty parts through component-level testing.
• Replace defective parts with OEM approved components.

Testing and Reclamation

• Evaluate removed components for reuse potential.
• Clean, refurbish, and re-certify housings, frames, and back covers for reuse.
• Segregate reclaimed parts into inventory and route non-reusable parts to scrap/recycling.
• Maintain accurate records of parts harvested vs. parts scrapped.

Reassembly

• Follow model-specific SOPs for reassembly sequence, torque specs, and adhesive/seal application.
• Verify that all components are fully seated before closing the housing.
• Ensure ESD-safe handling practices are followed throughout.

Testing and Quality Control

• Run complete post-repair diagnostics covering all functional systems.
• Conduct RF testing (cellular signal, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS).
• Inspect and grade cosmetic condition against company grading standards.
• Document test results and assign final pass/fail/grade status.

Inventory Management

• Log spare parts consumption in SAP at point of use.
• Post finished goods into SAP upon completion.
• Process goods receipts for incoming spare parts and goods issues for scrapped parts.
• Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full stock takes.
• Monitor spare parts stock levels and raise replenishment requests.

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent, major in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years' direct experience in cell phone or other electronic device repair (mandatory).
• Experienced using precision tools and technology.
• Software flashing and RF test experience (preferred).
• Good team player with excellent time management.
• High integrity and strong work ethic.
