- At least two years of college studies in Business Administration, Management, Mathematics, Purchasing & Supply, or related field
- Minimum of three years progressively responsible procurement-related experience
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Good working knowledge of procurement and contracting regulations, instructions, procedures, and practices
- Ability to learn local market practices, contractor capabilities, and pricing customs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Public Trust clearance
- Subject to background investigation and possible pre-employment medical exam
- Must be able to begin work within six weeks of receiving agency authorization
