A company in Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos, is seeking a proactive and result-oriented Procurement Officer to join its team. The organization focuses on efficient procurement processes and supplier management.

• Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive purchasing.
• Process purchase requests and purchase orders promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
• Maintain proper procurement records and documentation.
• Ensure purchases meet approved quality, quantity, and cost requirements.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Work closely with Operations, Finance, Stores, and other relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in procurement/purchasing.
• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with figures.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos supplier/market environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be organised, reliable, and proactive.
