Job Description

This role is responsible for driving the financial and programmatic sustainability of YandyTech Community. The officer will lead business development, fundraising, and the overall design of high-impact programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new funding opportunities; create and manage a robust Resource Mobilisation Pipeline and monthly donor intelligence reports.
  • Lead the writing of concept notes, EOIs, and full proposals for all portfolios (DWELab, T4PCLab, YE-CAN etc.).
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of new projects to ensure they meet key performance indicators and donor requirements.
  • Strengthen and maintain high-level relationships with local and international stakeholders, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.
  • Develop and execute diversified business development strategies, including fundraising events and corporate giving campaigns.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years in programme management, grant writing, or resource mobilisation with a proven track record of securing funding.
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Development Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or Project Management.
  • Strong budgeting skills, knowledge of donor compliance, and proficiency in project management software.
  • Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills.
