Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that assembly processes comply with industry best practices and defined quality standards.
  • Follow internal quality standards, procedures, and specifications during the assembly process to guarantee product quality.
  • Carry out detailed in-process and finished goods inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities.
  • Inspect all received goods for quality assurance, identifying items requiring rework or maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections during repair processes and after service to ensure functionality and quality standards.
  • Inspect all modified products using predefined checklists to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain complete and detailed records of all repairs performed and materials received, ensuring accurate documentation for traceability.
  • Collaborate with the Production, Engineering, Projects, and Sales departments to ensure adherence to established procedures, standards, systems, and processes.
  • Provide feedback and training to assembly staff to enhance quality awareness and compliance.
  • Participate in quality audits and assist in the development of corrective actions for identified issues.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing or assembly setting.
  • Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or other relevant quality certifications.
  • Experience with statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control and assurance processes within manufacturing or assembly environments.
  • Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and techniques, including measurement devices and checklists.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a systematic approach to inspections and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with assembly personnel and management.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
