Mikano Motors is a company in Lagos seeking a Quality Control & Test Drive Technician to verify the technical quality of vehicles repaired or serviced before release to customers.

• Carry out an initial road test, where required, to confirm and reproduce the customer complaint recorded on the job card.
• Communicate initial findings to the Service Advisor and Job Controller to support accurate diagnosis and estimation.
• Inspect every completed job against the job card, the repair order, and the applicable manufacturer repair standard before release.
• Perform the post-repair road test on the approved test route.
• Confirm that the original complaint has been fully rectified and that no new defect has been introduced during the repair.
• Reject and return to the workshop any vehicle that does not meet the required standard, stating the defect and the corrective action needed.
• Re-inspect and road test the vehicle after rework, and release it only once the standard is met.
• Escalate recurring or unresolved technical defects to the Workshop Manager.

• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• 1-2 Years of proven experience as an automotive Technician, preferably in the automotive industry or service center.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• ND, HND, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and technical training in automotive service is a plus.
