Established in 2008, the company operates a large-scale manufacturing plant in Ogun State, providing core structural components for local and regional infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in machine setup by installing, aligning, and securing dies, fixtures, and tools using hand tools such as gauges, shims, and calipers.
  • Learn and support the operation of straightening machines used to correct bent or deformed materials. Set machine parameters such as ram stroke and pressure based on blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities including lubrication, cleaning, and basic servicing of machines. Identify and troubleshoot minor malfunctions to ensure smooth machine operation.
  • Understand and follow proper equipment isolation procedures during maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure output meets required specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output.
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and operational procedures at all times.

Required Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience or industrial exposure.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and industrial environment.
  • Internship or prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
