We are currently recruiting a Regional Manager to oversee our operations across the South-East and South-South regions for a leading global food company. The ideal candidate is a strategic, result-driven leader with strong sales management experience in FMCG.
•Develop and implement regional sales plans and quotas in line with business goals.
•Support Store Managers with daily operations and performance management.
•Monitor and evaluate store and individual performances.
•Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
•Conduct regular sales meetings, providing insights and feedback.
•Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
•Lead regional recruitment, onboarding, and training for sales teams.
•Prepare and manage the annual regional budget.
•Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
•Address operational issues promptly with effective solutions.
•Contribute to expansion and acquisition strategies.
•Recommend new products and sales techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
•Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and store managers.
•Conduct business reviews and follow up on sales activity, product performance, customer service, receivables, and claims.
•Collaborate with logistics to forecast and meet customer needs.
•Monitor competitive activity and provide insights to improve strategies.
•Track KPIs and initiate performance improvement actions.
•HND/BSc in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
•Minimum of 8 years progressive sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector.
•Strong leadership and team management skills.
•Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
