Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth, market penetration, and distributor performance within the Northern region. The role requires a strong understanding of the Beauty/Personal Care market dynamics and consumer behavior across the North, with accountability for sales targets, pricing discipline, and effective trade execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Northern Beauty/Personal Care market.
  • Manage distributors, ensuring availability, pricing compliance, and route-to-market effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor the regional sales team to achieve volume and value targets.
  • Conduct market intelligence to track competitor activities, pricing, and consumption trends.
  • Ensure adherence to trade policies, credit management, and company reporting standards.
  • Expand retail and wholesale product penetration across Northern territories.
  • Collaborate with trade marketing to execute activations and promotional campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • 8–10 years’ FMCG sales experience, with at least 3 years in regional leadership.
  • Strong track record managing distributors and delivering sales growth in Northern Nigeria.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Northern Beauty/Personal Care trade environment.
