Job Description

We are looking for two highly motivated interns willing to work with us for six months (tentatively May – October 2026). This is an unpaid voluntary role, but interns will be provided with ₦50,000 per month to cover data costs.

  • Job Location: Remote
  • Salary: ₦50,000 per month (data cost coverage) – unpaid voluntary role
  • Employment Type: Internship (6 months)

About the Company

Healthnomics is a growing team of healthcare professionals passionate about driving innovation in Africa's healthcare sector. The organization creates evidence-driven stories and commentaries at the intersection of research and innovation in African health, curating high-quality pieces that capture the attention of funders, founders, researchers, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create at least six (up to 10) quality blog pieces over the entire duration of the internship (one per month). Each piece will be built on research from literature and/or interviews with stakeholders
  • At least one intern will be responsible for managing the social media account(s) in creating and disseminating content pieces (graphics, captions, videos, etc.)
  • Work with other members of the team to align content pieces with the overall mission

Required Skills

  • Proficient in creative writing (you don't have to be a researcher)
  • Highly motivated and willing to work with us
  • Can think outside the box
  • Proficient in literature search and review (able to gather, critique, and review evidence)
  • 3rd year – Final year undergraduate students or recent graduates (preferably in the health sciences, but other courses may be considered)
  • Able to commit about 5 hours per week over the internship period
  • Proficiency in Canva is a plus
