The Retail Associate will run the store day to day — serving customers, closing sales, managing stock, and keeping the space in the condition customers expect. The role is suited for someone early in their career who wants serious sales and customer service training.

The company has three physical stores in Nigeria — two in Lagos and one in Abuja — and is a leading online destination for wedding and engagement rings in the country. Azarai has been designing engagement and wedding rings in Nigeria since 2014, working with moissanite, lab diamonds, natural diamonds, and precious metals.

• Cultivate excellent product knowledge.
• Guide customers to make purchases and close transactions.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints.
• Maintain cleanliness and good decorative order in the store.
• Manage stock levels and ensure availability of inventory.
• Ensure the POS is working.
• Ensure supply of all office consumables.
• Ensure timely opening of the store.
• Arrange store displays in an inviting fashion.
• Accept repairs and ensure they are dispatched and returned promptly.
• Enforce company policies.
• Execute company promotions and offers.

• Must live along the northern corridor into Mabushi — areas such as Gwarinpa, Life Camp, Kado, Karmo, Katampe, Mpape, Berger, Jabi, Utako, Wuse and Kubwa.
• Excellent spoken and written English; a diction test will be administered.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and software.
• Available Monday to Saturday on a rotating 18-shift roster, including Saturdays.
• Calm disposition and the ability to work under pressure.
• Complete training before serving a customer.
• Punctual and responsible for store opening on schedule.
• Excellent personal grooming, every shift.
• Confident selling a high-value product to a well-educated, affluent customer base.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Commit for at least a year.
