Reports To: Head of Technical

Glasstronic Technologies Limited is seeking a proactive and highly attentive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment across all technical and operational activities. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and enforcing safety policies, conducting audits, managing risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the facility and all technical operations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Train and educate technical staff and other employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and correct use of PPE.
• Monitor compliance with safety standards and prepare safety reports for the Head of Technical and senior management.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and compliance reports.
• Work closely with technical and operational teams to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Promote and sustain a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a safety role within construction, industrial solutions, manufacturing, or technical operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and training abilities to guide and educate staff on safe practices.
• Ability to enforce safety policies while encouraging teamwork and compliance.
