Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate and qualify leads to support the company's sales pipeline by identifying target accounts, researching prospects, and initiating meaningful conversations that lead to qualified opportunities. The SDR will work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads and scheduled meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' needs and determine fit based on predefined criteria.
  • Consistently create and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Schedule meetings or product demos for Account Executives or Technical Sales Leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions using CRM.
  • Nurture leads through multiple touchpoints and follow up consistently to close deals where necessary.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and product knowledge.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on target accounts and messaging.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years' experience in B2B sales or lead generation (SaaS or HR Tech preferred).
  • Proven experience with cold outreach and pipeline building.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
  • Experience qualifying leads and scheduling product demos with decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset with Marketing and Account Executive teams.
