About the Company


Our client, a fast-growing and ambitious commodity export business, is building a strong global presence across India, China, the United States, and Europe. They are seeking a commercially driven Sales & Marketing Lead to spearhead international sales growth, manage global buyer relationships, and build a structured commercial function within an entrepreneurial environment.

Job Description

This role is ideal for a senior commercial professional with deep experience in international physical commodity trading who is ready to help scale a growing export business.

📍 Location: Abuja (with international travel as required)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute export sales strategies to grow volumes and revenue
• Work closely with the Managing Director to expand international buyer, trader, and processor relationships
• Develop and execute marketing strategies across digital, B2B, LinkedIn, inbound channels, trade events, and regional agents
• Identify new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities
• Maintain a structured CRM to track pipeline, deal execution, and performance
• Represent the company at global meetings, negotiations, and international trade fairs
• Track and share commercial insights on pricing trends, competitive dynamics, and market positioning
• Support the development of internal commercial processes as the business scales
 

Required Skills

✔️ Minimum 5 years’ experience in international physical commodity trading (preferably agro-commodities)
✔️ Proven track record driving export sales and revenue growth
✔️ Strong experience developing and executing sales and marketing strategies
✔️ Experience working with global or enterprise-level B2B clients
✔️ Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
✔️ Comfortable operating independently in an unstructured, fast-scaling environment
✔️ Strong CRM and commercial reporting discipline

• International market exposure across multiple regions
• Experience attending or leading engagements at global trade shows
• Existing industry networks and buyer relationships
• Hands-on experience with agro-commodities such as shea nut butter, cashew, sesame, cocoa, peanuts, or other soft commodities
• Experience managing B2B LinkedIn or corporate social media presence
