Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, understanding their needs, presenting suitable study-abroad solutions, and closing sales while building strong, long-term customer relationships.

The company is a licensed study-abroad consultancy that helps young people relocate to affordable countries for their education. Its headquarters is in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with satellite offices in Abuja and Lagos, and a presence in over 20 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and contact potential clients through outreach and cold calling
2. Present and sell the company’s study-abroad services to students and parents
3. Understand client needs and recommend suitable education options
4. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals
5. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
6. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
7. Handle inquiries, objections, and complaints professionally
8. Stay informed about services, pricing, and market trends
9. Collaborate with team members and management to improve sales strategies

Required Skills

1. Functional mobile phone and reliable power supply
2. Strong interest in sales and client engagement
3. Fluency in English (spoken and written)
4. Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (2–8 years)
5. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to build trust and maintain client relationships
7. Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
8. Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient
9. Familiarity with CRM tools, spreadsheets, or sales tracking systems (an advantage)
10. Strong time-management and organizational skills
11. Flexibility to adapt to changing sales strategies and client needs
