We're currently looking for scriptwriters for a high-quality true crime documentary channel. This is not bodycam or low-effort content, but long-form, carefully written storytelling.

This is a contract-based, extremely long-term position. Strong writers will always have consistent work, along with opportunities to grow within the company, take on additional responsibility, and earn higher pay over time.

• Write long-form, carefully crafted true crime documentary scripts
• Focus on storytelling and creativity using provided research documents
• Build tension and compelling narratives
• Meet expected turnaround time of 10 to 12 days per script
• Study and follow a comprehensive manual outlining the scriptwriting style
• Dedicate at least 4 to 8 hours per day to writing

• Fluency in written English
• No use of AI when writing scripts
• Ability to work with very disturbing subject matter
• A creative mindset capable of building tension and compelling narratives
• Strong storytelling ability
• Ability to learn quickly

Script Details

• Script length range: 8,000 – 12,000 words average
• Videos typically range from 30 to 60 minutes or longer
• For every script, you will be provided with a detailed research document containing most of the necessary information

Budget
$150 to $300 per video, depending on length

Annual Earnings Potential
Annual earnings of approximately $4,000 to $6,000 are possible for writers who consistently meet deadlines and quality standards.
